Message Hey Zvil,

Thanks for the ideas!
The harness is correct (I'm pretty anal about labeling everything).
Fuel lines are correct on the upper fuel rail.
I haven't been able to check for exact fuel pressure since I don't have a gauge right now.. but I definitely have pressure.
I tried bypassing the fuel pump controller before I put in the new pump and it made no difference, so I'm sure that's fine.

I disconnected both MAFs a few weeks ago when I was trying to rule out a gigantic vacuum leak. No change.
I've had the ECU in and out about a dozen times by now thinking a poor connection could be the problem, but I'm positive that it's seated properly now.
No popping at all.. Just cranks like normal but never fires. Every now and then it seems like it tries to get going for a split second.
( Don't worry, I haven't been cranking for hours, flooding the engine :P )

I was thinking the same thing about the PTU grounding points near the IAC.. but they're all good. I also tested both of my PTU's and both were to spec.

The harness isn't in too bad of shape. All new connections have been soldered and heat shrinked. I'm getting spark on all 6 and all injectors are firing, so I'm sure at least that part of it is okay for now.

I'm going to throw a new set of plugs in tomorrow just for the hell of it. who knows, right?
Maybe see if I can borrow a fuel pressure gauge from one of my buddies too.

Thanks a lot for your response! I really appreciate the help. If you think of anything else, please let me know.
